So much history in this entire area, you could never cover it all in such a short time! In high school I hated history, sorry Mrs. Sundstrom! Maybe because it was just in books all the time, things just don't seem real? When you get out and experience the history, it brings meaning to things. The graves, the artifacts, they are all so interesting!
We stayed at a cute RV Park nearby, 7th Ranch RV Camp, they had raised garden beds, a little cafe that was open in the mornings had breakfast and coffee items. You can take a walk to the flag pole and there is a pile of painted rocks up there. Hope spent some time outside as usual and made a little guitar, a couple of boats and a cross for us to put in the RV.
