Who We Are
Welcome to Mapshocked! We are a family of 6 that travels full-time around the country in our RV. We love homeschooling our kids, seeing new places and most of all...trying new restaurants! We have been to some pretty awesome food places around this country and you can read about them in "Our Journey".
We sold our house in July of 2017, bought an 2017 Forest River Surveyor 33KRETS and have been traveling the country for about 2 years as of this writing. We love to "boondock" (camping without hookups) when we can and we have setup our RV with a total solar outfit just so that we can do it off-grid! See more about this in our "Going Solar" articles. Update... We upgraded our RV to a Montana High Country 335BH Fifth Wheel and boy do we LOVE it! We still love boon-docking but will need some upgrades for Solar on the new RV before we venture out.
