Mitchell, SD was pretty neat. Of course I’m drawn to it since my maiden name was Mitchell and dad said that we must go to the corn palace. The only thing interesting there was the corn palace and an Indian museum that we didn’t get to see. The corn palace wasn’t quite finished yet. They redo the outside each year with new corn. It is very interesting to see. They use all different color corn cobs, plus the stalks and husks. Inside they have pictures of all of the past years from 1892 to last year. There was an entire gift shop on the lower level on the basketball court. We thought it was pretty cool. We picked out a magnet and added it to our board.
