Goodbye 2020!!! Although, honestly we had a wonderful year and this new year we are set up to hopefully have the best year yet! What does the new year look like for you?
I'll give you one piece of advice that has helped us focus on more positive things in the last few years...... "Your inner world creates your outer world". Think positive thoughts and stop complaining so much about things.
I am constantly hearing people say...I'll be glad when 2020 is over. Well, what difference is Thursday the 31st vs Friday the 1st? Nothing if you don't change the way you think. To us January 1st is just another day, except for the fact we have to remember to write 2021 instead of 2020 on documents and letters now! The job and life you have on Thursday, you will still have on Friday. How are you going to make it any different that you couldn't have already done last month? Time to start focusing on the positive!
We have truly been blessed this year and all of the stuff going on in the world hasn't affected us too much. In 2019 we have made new friends, visited with extended family, old friends and friends that we call family! We've seen beautiful scenery from the mountains to the beaches and everything in between. Our year has taken us on so many adventures, we are beyond grateful for the opportunity to be able to show our kids how enjoyable life can really be.
Schooling has been a little tougher this year, since the end of last year we decided to do road-schooling, and we haven't been to many museums, capitol buildings or observatories since they have all been closed. So, we will be getting back to the old school books in January!
We finally got our first white Christmas, which has been a dream of ours forever and of course the kids too! It was a wonderful way to finish off the year. We are looking forward to what 2021 is bringing. Our future may be starting to look a little different!
