This was a super neat park to stay at because my dad and his family camped there just over 70 years ago. They have the same artisan wells that feed the lake, they have the same policies that no motor boats are allowed on the lake. It was so peaceful for sure. We snagged one of the new sites that were50 amp and just paved, so we had 100’ to fit into. Just enough space, and I love that!
The tent people in the campground were so nice and respectful of quiet hours, but a couple of RV’ers were not as much. The people that were supposed to be in front of us never showed and it was kind of sad because it’s such a great spot to camp, but at the same time, we had so much more room!
There was not much to do in the area, but to be honest, we didn’t look past a 30 minute drive. All in all, we would definitely stay here again and can’t wait to come back!
